SMS Machine Web has a new version 5.0
SMS Machine/WEB is a powerful system for huge reception and transmission of SMS messages using one or more SIM numbers
of any Mobile Operator both on GSM or UMTS network.
With SMS Machine you can:
- Receive up to 80.000 SMS per day with a standard SIM CARD of any GSM/UMTS Mobile Operator
- Send up to 20.000 per day with a standard SIM CARD of any GSM/UMTS Mobile Operator
- Manage the Status Report notifications sent by the GSM operator for a 100% reliable transmission
- Manage at the same time the traffic of several SIM cards (optionally up to 16 SIM card for each Software Licence)
- Store more than 100 million SMS with their sender phone number, date and time of transmission and message text
- Allow contemporary access of several users to SMS lists and other functions both from LAN and Internet from any PC equipped with a simple web browser
- Automatically generate the phonebook of the received SMS sender numbers and organize it in groups
- Transmit SMS to single phone numbers rather than to groups
- Manage polls or search by key-word in real time
- Integrate received SMS lists or polls results with your own company website or with public websites
- Manage from external applications all the messages both for reception and transmission, by mean of simple MySql queries on the database

Hardware architecture
SMS Machine/WEB runs over Personal Computer equipped with Windows XP/Vista/Seven/2003 Server/2008 Server Operating System that can be also used as an ordinary workstation during its operations.
Of course it is possible to install SMS Machine over any kind of hardware of any value, from a simple workstation up to reliable server with hardware redundancy.
In particular it is possible to install SMS Machine/WEB over rack server with RAID disks, for a very high reliability and working continuity.
For SMS reception, SMS Machine uses GSM or UMTS modems with USB interface and able to support SIM cards of any Mobile Operator.
SMS Machine/WEB may be equipped on demand with up to 16 modems to manage the same number of SIM cards at the same time.

The choice of hardware and software instruments that are largely used allows you to interact in a very easy way with SMS Machine using whatever language you like
- Apache.
It is most wide spread Web Server in the world! It is used by the SMS Machine to support the Web pages displayed through the browser
and which allow visualization and management of SMS messages in transmission and reception.
- MySQL
It is one of the most performing and used SQL server for managing a large amount of data.
It is used by the SMS Machine to store messages queues in transmission and reception but also all the configuration data managed by the web application.
- PHP.
It is one of the most flexible and spread scripting language on the Internet.
It is used by the SMS Machine to build the Web page for SMS messages visualization and managing.
This part of SMS Machine/WEB Software is provided to customers in Source Code with comments, so it can be freely extended, modified, customized or at last substituted.
Administration interface
The administration interface of version 5 of the SMS Machine Web can be used either to configure the software and to supervise the real time status.
The application provide the service status and, for each channel, the channel status, the GSM field level, the messages sent and received. From the administration window you can also view the log files to identify and solve whatever problem may arise.

In the following picture a typical web page generated by the SMS Machine is displayed, in this case it is the received SMS messages list.
As said before, the esthetical and functional aspect is completely configurable but also customizable, simply by modifying the PHP scripts.

For every single received SMS message we have several options of interaction such as responding via SMS,
forwarding it via email, publishing it on a public web page, marking it as a spam and many others.
SMS Machine is a real Web server, from any point of view, so access to all its features and functions is performed through a browser, e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari.
It is possible to use the machine as an ordinary Personal Computer or to access all its functions in a remote way from one or more PC over a LAN or Internet.
You just have to insert the SIM cards you want to use for receiving and sending SMS inside the slot of the provided USB modems,
to ensure that the GSM field coverage is good enough and to launch the Web Browser for accessing all the available functions.

Phone book and broardcast trasmission
With SMS Machine/WEB it is possible to define a phone book of accounts,
to be inserted manually using the web interface, or to be uploaded from external files or to be retrieved directly from the received SMS list

It is possible to organize the phone numbers in groups and to send the same message to a whole group or the whole phone book with a single operation.
Broadcast SMS sending page
This way it is very easy to dispatch alarms, invitations, or messages for advertising or for public utility.
For each sent message you can request the Status Report notification that allows you to monitor the effective delivery of the message.
The Status Report notification is a service provided by the GSM operator and it is available only if the GSM network of your operator supports it.
SMS Machine/WEB allows also to send special message of the “active” kind, also known as WAP PUSH SMS. This way you can send web-links or vCards in a very easy way, just as you do for the ordinary text SMS.
Polls trough SMS
With SMS Machine WEB it is possible to count the received SMS containing specific keywords in real time and to show the results both in a graphical or textual ways.
Moreover it is possible to define different pools all active at the same time.
Since a MySQL server is the base of SMS Machine, it is also possible on customer demand to generate any kind of particular report to be interfaced with existing third party software.
The results of a poll

The access to the pages for SMS sending and management is obviously conditioned by the user rights.
The system administrator (or the administrators) can create, delete or modify users,
give them or not the access to every single function and check the log register for every single user access.

With SMS Machine/WEB you can also perform different kind of statistic analysis on the received messages, with result graphical visualization.
The statistics can concern, for example, the received messages distribution among day or week duration, the frequency of reception based on hours or days.
Extra addons and plugins
The SMS Machine Web can be customized and expanded to enable extra features upon customer request. Among the other modules there are:
- Autoresponders to automatically answer to incoming messages
- Email forwarder to deliver via Email the incoming SMS messsages
- Publication of SMS using remote Flash pages for shows or conventions
